Search for Absolute

From Religion to Self Realization

To start a religion one should name:

A bunch of useless people – Chosen ones,

Unworthy – Worthy,

Unfaithful – Faithful,

People agreeable with any condition – Protestants,

Greatest egomaniacs – Devotees of God,

Glory seekers – Glory singers,

Clueless – Wise,

Evil – Kind.

In this way One will get a mass of followers that will fear Almighty, be upset about their differences, flatter you and try to drag you back into the ocean of ignorance you intended to save them from. Therefore word Religion literately means – returning back. But the problem is –in order to make real progress we have to move forward with the flow of Eternal Time.

Therefore you have to properly explain that Truth is beyond all designations and no one is really fallen as long as we return everything to the Source "here and now" and it’s not about Religion "there and after", but rather all about Self Realization and therefore you don’t need blind followers at all.  And all you want is to turn all blind slaves of regulations into free seekers of Absolute Truth. And the greatest challenge of all is to do it in a such a way that they would not kill you in the process and disperse with nothing and get worse.

That constitutes the greatest skill of a preacher.

Search for Absolute Truth

Often we may hear: “Why to seek?” “Didn’t we give you all the answers already, we are Absolute and our scriptures are directly from God”. Anyone speaking like that is either a fool or a cheater and often both. Moses searched, Jesus Searched, so are Buddha, Krishna and others as Universe operates in a state of eternal search for itself for its own pleasure. Simply everything must be returned to the Source – that’s the very essence of the Creator. Anyone obstructing it even in the name of almighty himself is actually performing greatest disservice. Organized religion tends to stress “Rules and regulations stage” and suppress the “Seeking stage”. This produces lots of blind followers that are easily manipulated and are good supporters of the church. Such poor preachers don’t realize that they trade with the "Devil" – insuring material support of the institution and their own by killing the very Holy Spirit, and in few generations such institution weakens, turns into a purely external organization, with no substance, and eventually being abandoned and destroyed.

Seek The Truth and it will set you free!

Seeker's Sanctum

Why Vedas?

In fact soul's eternal function - Sanatana Dharma isn’t any more Vedic or Hindu then it is Arabic, Hebrew or else. Vedas simply establish most elaborate vocabulary in circulation for achieving self realization and that’s the only reason we refer to that. For the same token birth in a close proximity to Hindu river accomplishes nothing more then births at other geographic locations. Ongoing notion that to follow Vedas one has to be born Hindu is a dubious statement as it refers to bodily, family and ethnic ties and not self realization. From a Self Realization point of view Hindus are at disadvantage and have to work harder - they have to break their family and social ties first like Arjuna, Adjamil, Jaguy & Madhay, etc. Only after that they become receptive to Conclusive truths of the Vedas sometimes called 5th Veda or 4th way (Bhagavata Dharma) and can realize a true meaning instead of just doing superficial rituals in the name of dogma.

Sanatana Dharma – the eternal function or natural occupation of the soul is a scientific fact and not a matter of research and moreover it is ongoing already on eternal plane. However it takes a lot of research and effort of self discovery to bring such dormant state to presence at planet Earth within our life time.

Sanatana Dharma simply means - Selfless service to others and based on realisation - Aham bramasmi - I am causeless. Therefore it is universal and transcends any traditional boundaries. It may have different names, but we should be always concerned with the essence. When Shri Chaitanya said "I am not Shudra, Vaisya, Ksatria, Brahmana, but the servant of the servant of the servant" He meant the Sanatana Dharma and he meant that he is the Eternal Servant of the Truth and not some civil servant limited by the cast system mentality. When Chaitanya was saying " There is no other way" he also meant - Selfless service to others or Sanatana Dharma. And name Chaitanya - translates as Universal Force, so no other sectarian meaning but only one Universal realization of the truth he wanted to express.

Sadhana as path of inner inquiry

We live in unique day and age when all conclusive truths are spelled out from a point one. And jumping to these conclusions might keep us on the right track, yet all points in-between are to be filled through following Sadhana or path of inner inquiry. As each person has their unique set of dots to be connected, that creates their unique path towards Enlightment and beyond or Pathless path towards One conclusive Truth - Sri Krishna.

Yes, we can call the conclusive truth to be “one Standard for All” and even practices could be same or similar, yet the execution would be always different with unique relations to Higher Self.

Sometimes people are wondering - "What's my spiritual path?". Should I wear special dress, haircut, join groups, monastery, become a sanyasi or a priest. The answer to that is real simple - you spiritual path does not requere any of that unless you are naturally inspired and attracted or want to give it atry.
Spiritual path isn't in abstaining from life either. Any activity performed selflessly becomes your spiritual path - as simple as that. There is no point to pretend or try to do what you aren't ready for. It's much wiser to perform least effort work and rather spend extra effort to perform it as selflessly as possible and in this way attain spiritual purity and satisfy your soul, rather then trying to get hard to attain things establishing your status quo. There is nothing wrong with that either, but creates extra material  to be transcended later.

Effort spent to perform ones activities selflessly is the right effort acknowledged by scripture. It does take extra conscious effort and that brings purity as well as spiritual power.

Selflessness is the only true all time mesure of purity and the mesure of advancement made on the spiritual path, not the status quo, not religious status, sex, occupation or line of work determines its spiritual quality. Selflessness is the only that counts.  Priest could be more corrupt at heart and in mind then a prostutute and vise versa.

Prabhupada, Arjuna, Ajamil...

Scripture provides multiple archetypes  for one's spiritual path. Sometimes we may hear "Only through Prabhupada books", only through "Jesus", "Allah" , etc.
In reality what matters is one's selflessness and purity. For Abhay Charan - following strictly the instructions of his spiritual master and translating Vedas unleashed his selfless spiritual nature. And for that he was called Bhaktivedanta - one who knows Bhakti and called Prabhupada - one who follows his master. For another person it might be something entirely different. Prabhupada isn't some religious worker status or title, it is rather a state of consciousness.

So it doesn't mean same will work for everyone else. For example If one studies Vedas for scholarly achievements such person develop status quo, pride, other worldly qualities, but may not spiritually advance at all. Also following instruction of spiritual master superficially may have an opposite effect as well. So no matter how loud you may shout - Prabhupada, Prabhupada it may not work for you or everyone.
It was fashionable in 60s having some sort of Guru for example, but that was just a social fetish.

Also Vedas provide another example - Arjuna - means literally - bright and cocky. For him spiritual path was a Holy warrior and he ended up slaying his Spiritual masters and some family members. That's rather extreme and ancient, but nevertheless it's the opposite to Praphupada. Because what works for one at the -"follower" stage may be very different for the Enlightened who broke any Guru dependency. It doesn't mean each enlightened being would literally take a sword and chop their teachers, but under circumstances if their teachers happen to be on the other side in the battle, they may.

For Adjamil - meaning - mythical king - it took to break all scriptural taboos and spending his life with a prostitute and almost going to hell to come back to his senses. Again it doesn’t mean everyone should rush marrying prostitutes.

So when it comes to real life one should carefully consider their nature to find their unique path they are naturally sympathetic towards and the occupation that they can perform in a most selfless manner - that will be their dharma or spiritual path.
