As by watering the root of a tree we water its leaves, similarly by returning everything to the Supreme cause we satisfy all other necessities of life without separate effort.
This constitutes the spirit Isavasya, further explained in Sri Isopanishad. This realization leads to direct Spiritual experience. As the building rests on its foundation, all spiritual Life is built on Shanta Rasa.– neutral relationships with the Supreme. All other Rasas grow from that and all further Truths, are derived.
Sri Chaitanya wrote: “One should chant the holy name of the Lord in a humble state of mind, thinking oneself lower than the straw in the street; one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige, and should be ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly.”
However Such Absolute tolerance can not be imitated or achieved by anything other then Realization of Absolute, through the Isavasya principal - the process of returning everything to the Supreme. Practically Isavasya sets first basic qualification to glorify God constantly by Chanting his Name as outlined by Sri Chaitanya.
Other important truths derived through Isavasya:
1. No one is fallen as long as we return everything to the source.
This is the only justification and higher purpose, for our coming into material existence. No, we are not under punishment. Our existence has a higher meaning. We were simply given the opportunity to explore and to return. And no matter how perverted our experiences here may seem to be, (if all being returned to the source), then it becomes all important and necessary part for building our spiritual bodies, on our way of devotional exploration.
2. Reintegration/Transformation. Sin is simply a misdirected effort, and the seeds of impure potentials within our consciousness. To get free from Sin is simply to redirect our effort and reconnect our intent to its True origin by tracing everything to their root cause (Visnu). In this way pride becomes transcendental pride, anger becomes transcendental anger, lust becomes transcendental lust and everything transcended in this way.
3. All confusion and misfortune come from not knowing the Truth. But knowing, and not following, is the biggest deviation.
4. Man is always under control of either material or spiritual nature. Liberation is simply choosing Divine Grace.
